Success. Sesame bread with egg cake & youtiao and a soy milk. Great way to start the day.
The rest of the afternoon was spent shopping. First stop was Costco...free samples & the food court for a bulgogi bake. Similar to the chicken bake at home but with bulgogi beef & better.
Later, it was shopping in the Sanduo Shopping district, first stop was a tea shop
Yi-Jiun found the Bunny Egg Waffles irresistible. Too cute not to buy.
Sooo many snacks, which ones to choose? Better save some room for the night market.
My dinner choice. Sizzling black pepper steak with noodles & and egg served with tea and corn chowder. Delicious & filling.
But I shared some of Yi-Jiun's Stinky Tofu as well.
Next stop, Milk Tea with pearls (eye ball drink) and a stroll through the Yide Night Market. We went to the NM State Fair a few weeks ago. I think the one order of chicken wings at the fair cost more than dinner & lots of snacks for 4 at the night market.
Next stop, Yi-Jiun could not pass on the Spicy Garlic Tofu

We made room for crepes & some tasty mushrooms
A popular game at the Night Market. You are given a ring with tissue paper for a net and see how many fish you can scoop from the trays before the tissue tears.
