14 October 2018 - Sunday - Cycling is Fun

Yi-Jiun found a Claw game that she wants to play.  Who needs a stuffed toy, she'd rather have pastries.

Veggie & Corn Egg Cake w/ Blueberry Toast to start the day.

There was a stand at the rest station last night selling dried chilies with peanuts & dried peas. Someone bought a couple of boxes for us and we opened one this afternoon. Sooo good. I want to go back and buy more.

Sunday afternoon at one of only 2 Costcos in a city of 2.8 million...and you thought your Costco was crowded!

Another meet-up, this time at Yi-Jiun's high school

The city of Kaohsiung has bicycle stands all over town. With a credit card, they're free for the first 30 mins.  We took a ride from the school across the river and toward the Banana Wharf / Art District

We stopped for gelato along the way...I had red tea & #6 level (on a scale of 1-7) matcha.

Once again, time to pig out. Dinner at ARTCO Bistro & Bar. We ordered a set dinner for 4 + an extra entree and the food kept coming until we were stuffed.

A Blue Curacao Soda, tomato soup, pumpkin soup, jalapeno panini, seafood noodles, salad, roasted mushrooms, chicken wings, pork/beef/sausage plate, marshmallow crepes w/ ice cream

And, most importantly, great company!
